Woman sustains '˜horrific' injuries in unprovoked attack
The unprovoked attack happened in broad daylight on Sunday afternoon.
The victim was walking home along the footpath off Cranborne Avenue, Westcroft, which runs between Sissinghurst Drive and Brantwood Close, between about 2pm and 2.30pm.

Hide AdShe was struck on the head from behind, causing her to fall to the floor.
While on the floor she was kicked, causing her to sustain a broken nose, fractured cheekbone, fractured eye socket and bruising to her hands, ribs, feet and back.
She is currently being treated at Milton Keynes General Hospital.
Police are treating the attack as grievous bodily harm and say the victim believes there were three offenders involved.
None of her belongings was taken during the offence.

“The victim has sustained horrific injuries and I would urge anyone with any information to think about the victim, search their conscience and contact police.
