Refugees due to settle in Milton Keynes this week
Two refugee families fleeing war torn Syria will move to Milton Keynes this week.
They are the first of 20 families due to be welcomed into the city over the next five years after the council agreed to take in “its fair share”.
Funding from central government will be used to support and house the refugees, a council spokesman said.
