work that they do. I usually volunteer two days a week, and whenever else I’m needed, like at fundraising events or for bucket collections. With the
current pandemic, these face-to-face fundraising efforts have been heavily curtailed, so I wanted to take this opportunity to help.”
Nikki Poole, community fundraiser at the hospice, said, “Grant is a fantastic volunteer, who is always there to help the fundraising team at Willen Hospice. With our community fundraising efforts on hold until further notice, we are facing a significant loss in income this summer."

Willen Hospice needs to raise £4.7m every year, that’s £9 a minute, to providing its specialist, compassionate care to patients with life-
limiting illnesses, and at the end of their lives.
